"Exd" heater suitable for hazardous areas
DESCRIPTION
These heaters are ideal for space heating in hazardous areas, where high performance of heating is needed. They are designed for fixed mounting in horizontal position, for indoor installation. The device is cylindrical in shape and made of stainless steel. The construction of the heater, without thermostat, ensures that the maximum temperature on the outer surface does not exceed 150°C. Due to better heat transfer, the outer surface of the tube is finned.
The heater is intended for use in hazardous area zone 1 and 2 of explosive gas atmosphere, group IIB, temperature class T3. The explosion protection of the device is specified in accordance with standard EN 60079-1 Explosive atmospheres - Part 1: Equipment protection by flameproof enclosures "d".
